Crownless — Terms of Use

These terms of use apply to the iOS app Crownless by Nico Huber, trading as nhstudios, Rudolf-Mößner-Str. 13, 74635 Kupferzell, Germany (info@nhstudios.info). For information on how the app handles data, see the Crownless Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Crownless, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. In addition, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) applies to your use of the app.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use Crownless on Apple devices you own or control, for private, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify or tamper with the app, except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

3. Virtual Currency & Items

Crownless uses virtual currencies (Coins and Crowns) and virtual items (President Passes and Second Chances). These are purely virtual: they have no monetary value, cannot be paid out or exchanged for real money, cannot be transferred to other people or devices, and are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where Apple grants a refund.

All game progress — including virtual currencies, items, statistics and achievements — is stored only locally on your device. There is no account, login or server. If you delete the app or use Profile → Settings → Reset Account, all local data, including any virtual currency and items, is permanently and irreversibly deleted.

4. Purchases

In-app purchases (Coins, Crowns, President Passes, Second Chances) are consumables and are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store (StoreKit). Prices, including applicable taxes, are displayed by Apple before purchase. Consumables are credited to your local game balance immediately after purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. Promo codes may grant virtual currency.

5. Tournaments & Gameplay

Tournaments in Crownless use buy-ins and prizes consisting solely of virtual Coins. No real money can be won, and nothing can be paid out. Tournaments are not gambling.

6. Fair Play

You may not cheat, manipulate the app’s local data, or exploit bugs to gain unfair advantages. If we detect manipulated values (e.g. implausible currency balances), affected values may be reset to their default values.

7. Availability & Changes

We may change, add or remove features of the app, or discontinue the app, at any time. There is no entitlement to the permanent availability of the app or any of its features.

8. Disclaimer & Liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by German law, our liability is limited to damage caused by intent or gross negligence, and to the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties); in the latter case, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability for injury to life, body or health, and mandatory statutory liability (e.g. under product liability law), remains unaffected. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you reside remain unaffected.
